Carbon Polespears
Born for Hawaiʻi
The spear you grow up with — from a keiki’s first three-prong to a 9-foot carbon breakdown that fits in a dive bag. Designed, tested, and proven in Hawaiʻi waters — Kona side, Big Island.
First the spear. Then the gun.
In Hawaiʻi, plenty of us started the same way: unko puts a three-prong in your hand, gives you the short list of fish you’re allowed to take, and sends you to the reef. You learn your fish. You learn patience. You learn to take only what your ʻohana can eat. And when you’ve earned it — then comes the speargun.
Evolve set out to honor that path by building the polespear that tradition deserves: the best materials we could find, the lightest and fastest spears in the water — priced fairly, from an affordable first spear to the titanium flagship. That’s the spear we make.

One spear. Every hunt.
The CT Carbon Transformer comes in four models — CT6 to CT9 — and each reconfigures from 3′ up to its full length: the CT8 runs 3′–8′, the CT9 all the way to 9′. One polespear that grows with you — whitewater papio to big ulua. Every Evolve polespear breaks down into 3′ sections, and the 7′ spear breaks down into 2′ sections for the ultimate travel pack. All models share Evolve tips, bands, and sections.

Carbon. Titanium. No apologies.
Fresh off the bench in Kona — the spears themselves.
CTi9 — the titanium-carbon flagship. Runs the EVO SS 3-prong and the EVO+ titanium slip-tip — both tips together is the key: prongs for the reef, slip-tip for the ones that pull back.

CTi9 Titanium Detail
Titanium fittings, carbon weave, zero flex where it counts. Flagship set $599.99 — run it 3-prong or slip-tip.
Rig it Hawaiian. Tips we invented.

The Original SS Knurled 3-Prong
We invented the stainless knurled 3-prong so your prongs don’t rust and gunk up like carbon steel — no more “minerals,” as the old-school unkos lovingly call the rust.
- ▸Tips angled in — opens quick and grips the fish
- ▸Smooth, polished points for fast penetration
- ▸Knurling gives stainless the same fish-holding grip carbon steel only gets after soaking and rusting in the ocean — the grip without the rust
EVO stainless knurled from $48.99 (Carbon Steel HD $34.99 if you like your minerals).

EVO Slip-Tips and Floppers
Our slip-tip is flat-out bad ass — cable- or spectra-rigged, toggles clean, holds big fish that pull back.
- ▸Diamond-cut mini-tip for the fastest entry in the water
- ▸Tri-groove blade slices through the fish quick, so the slip-tip lodges and stays
- ▸Weld-on release tab — perfect fit and perfect release, every time
- ▸Sure-fit toggle sits tight: almost zero movement, no shaking, no flopping around until you release it
- ▸Quick-toggle setup — pull it, string your fish, get back on the monstas faster
- ▸Aerospace-grade carbon, composites & metals — that’s how fire products get made
EVO+ Slip-Tip Set $94.99 · EVO Flopper from $54.99 · HD Flopper $59.99.

Sections & Extenders
2′–3′ front, middle, and rear sections from $37.65 — rebuild, lengthen, or travel-pack any Evolve polespear.
Hawaiʻi fish. IUSA-record caliber.
90.1 lbs of ulua. One polespear.
Kauaʻi, spring 2018 — record ulua fell to Hawaiʻi polespears twice within weeks of each other. On April 5, Jonathan Barretto landed this 40.9 kg (90.1 lb) giant trevally to set the IUSA World Record, Men’s Sling / Polespear — with an Evolve carbon polespear in his hands. This is what the three-prong path leads to.

“I've tried my fair share of polespears over the years, but nothing comes close … the modular design is genius — it breaks down to fit my travel bag and configures from 3′ to 8′.”
